Our Deepest Fear By Marianne Williamson

This is widely known from the film Coach Carter. I think it is an amazing thought. Every time I read it, it makes me become all teary. I think when you have a dark moment or are self doubting then this piece is something that you should deffiently read. It was wrote by Marianne Williamson from the book A Return To Love.

"Our deepest fear is not that that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves 'who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabolous?'. Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifiest the glory of God that is within us. It is not in just some of us, it is in everyone. And as we let our light shine we unconsciously give people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear our presence automatically liberates others."
